Our Pastor

Our pastor, Joe Holstege, has been serving the Lord in pastoral ministry since October of 2017. He studied at Calvin College before training at the Protestant Reformed Theological Seminary. He served as pastor of Zion PRC in Jenison, MI before he was called to First PRC of Grand Rapids in the Spring of 2023. He and his wife Lisa have two boys, one biologically and another by adoption. 
 
Pastor loves to discover and proclaim Christ crucified from every page and passage of the word of God, for this is the power of God to save everyone who believes (Rom. 1:16). He also enjoys a good book, deep conversations, and learning about the ancient past.
