Immersion in God’s Word is essential to spiritual growth; we believe Bible studies are one important way that we as Christians mature together and provide encouragement to each other in our spiritual walk. For this reason we strongly encourage members of our congregation to be active participants in at least one Bible study. Visitors are welcome to join us for any of these studies. We also provide mandatory catechism instruction for our children from grades 1 through high school. This program provides instruction in Bible history for the younger students and instruction in all the doctrines of the Bible for older students.

Sunday School
Our Sunday school meets in the summer on Sundays at 11:00 a.m. following the morning worship service. Our children hear and read the stories of the Old and New Testament, with age-appropriate narrative. In addition, they learn and recite relevant Bible memory work with each lesson.

Our Sunday School students also gather for 4-6 weeks preceding Christmas to prepare for their annual Christmas Program that is presented after the Christmas morning worship service.

Young People’s Society
Our young people gather for Bible study after the morning worship service on the second and fourth Sundays of the month. They meet from October to April. They also have the opportunity to fellowship with other young people of the Protestant Reformed Churches at the Young People’s Convention held for a week each summer. (Current topic of study: The book of Acts.)

Young Adults
Young Adults Bible Study
Young adults meet for Bible study after the evening worship service on the first and third Sundays of the month from October to April. This Bible study group is comprised primarily of young singles who have graduated from high school. (Current topic of study: The book of Acts.)

Young Adults have the opportunity to enjoy Young Adults Retreats hosted by various Protestant Reformed congregations throughout the United States.

Adults
Tuesday Night Bible Study
Our Adult Bible Class meets the first and third Tuesday of each month at 7:30 p.m., from October through April. This Bible study is comprised of younger and older couples and singles.  (Current topic of study: The Canons of Dordt)


Women’s Bible Study
This small group study meets at 10:00 a.m. on the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month from October through April. Their fellowship and study is specifically designed to encourage women to be godly wives, mothers, and servants in the church. The atmosphere of this study is warm and casual; joys and concerns are met with encouragement and generous servings of coffee and goodies. Nursery care is also provided during this study. Women always leave refreshed and inspired in their spiritual walk. (Current topic of study: The Book of Malachi)
